Christmas Eve Blizzard

For the first time that I can remember, we had a blizzard in Oklahoma! Christmas Eve morning we woke up to snow, 4o mph winds, and no electricity. Kylee slept in and by the time she woke up our house was a chilly 52 degrees. Luckily Aunt Patty's house didn't loose electricity. So, we braved the blizzard and escaped to her house for the day. There was so much wind and snow that it was almost impossible to see anything except white out the car windows. Power lines were down almost to the ground and there were abandoned cars (stuck in the snow) all over the streets. I was bummed that our traditional Christmas Eve festivities had to be postponed, but Kylee didn't know that there was anything to be missed. She seemed to a have a lot fun swimming in Aunt Patty's bath tub (which is at least as big as Kylee's pool) and playing with Campbell family dogs.
