Today is
Kylee's 1st birthday!! I can't believe it's been a year already! Our little princess is growing up so fast. For her birthday, I made her old
playzone into a ball pit. She loved it! The first time I put her in, she walked in circles kicking the balls around and repeating "
baaaaall,
baaaaall,
baaaaall". Super cute! Daddy also hung her swing up in our bedroom door way. She thought that was super fun and couldn't stop giggling.
It's a tradition in the Jones family to get together for a family dinner whenever it's someones birthday; so, this evening we went to grandma's for dinner. Grandma made
Kylee all of her favorites: chicken (her own
Cornish game hen!), chicken rice-a-
roni, and green beans. Yum! We are waiting until her party this Saturday to do the big cake splash. So instead of cake, grandma made
Kylee a special birthday cookie.
Kylee decided her big birthday cookie was too pretty to eat. Instead she opted for 2 small cookies, one for each hand.
After dinner
Kylee got to open her birthday presents from her grandma, Aunt Michelle, Uncle Steven, and great Aunt Patty.
