Kylee started the month off with a cowboy boot obsession. Her friend, Gavin, suggested she wear them one day. She must have taken him very seriously, because she wore them everyday for over a week and even insisted on wearing them to bed a couple times. After that she wore her favorite tiara for about week straight. She usually put it on herself, and it was always interesting to see how it would end up.
One of Kylee's favorite things to do at the moment is act out scenes from Snow White and Cinderella. She loves to be the wicked old lady and the prince from Snow White. She hands me a pretend apple and instructs me to eat it a fall to sleep. Then she kisses me to wake me up. She also likes to the evil step sisters and the fairy godmother from Cinderella. She pretends to rip my dress. Then she waives her wand, says "bibidi bobidi boo" and tells me i have a new beautiful dress.Her magic wands have definitely been her favorite toy this month. When she isn't pretending to be the fairy godmother, she's a magician. She waives her wand and "abracadabra" - turns me into an animal. She also likes to take her turn acting out animals.
Kylee still isn't big into dress up clothes but she loves to accessorize. Lately she has refused to leave the house without a hat or tiara. Oddly enough, she usually chooses to leave her hat and purse in the car when we get to where we are going. Here she is after getting herself ready for dinner at grandma's.
